Future Earth, a nonprofit with 400k+ Instagram followers, needed to sustain a steady stream of climate education content that was visually engaging, fact-checked, and easy to digest. Their flagship weekly series, Good News Tuesday, was already beloved but required ongoing development to remain fresh and consistent across multiple years.
Problem:
Between 2021 and 2025, I created more than 200 bespoke graphics—including quotes, explainer carousels, and campaign-specific posts—always with sources cited to maintain trust and accuracy. With Good News Tuesday, I didn’t reinvent the identity designed by the original volunteer senior designer; instead, I elevated and extended it. I brought my artistic touch, consistency, and time to keep the series sharp and relevant.
To maintain freshness, I designed two distinct template systems during my tenure, each with five alternating variations. This allowed the weekly posts to rotate styles while still feeling like part of the same family. The designs balanced warmth and authority, using clear hierarchies, approachable palettes, and a tone that invited people into the climate conversation without overwhelming them.
